New Men's Yoga Line Launched

NEW YORK (November 6, 2003) - To accommodate the increasing numbers of men getting into yoga, Gear For Sports, Inc. has licensed Yoga Force to create a high end, unisex line of yoga apparel for men and women that would be ready this holiday season at selected spas, hotels and resorts. In the non-exclusive agreement, Gear for Sports will make, sell and distribute the Yoga Force line. The inside of Yoga Force labels will say 'made by Gear For Sports. The line includes golf shirts, shorts and sweat pants and shirts designed for men. Yoga Force was founded by California designer Anne E. Appleby in 1995, and has been carried in retail stores, including Macy's West, Bloomingdale' s, Nordstrom and Fred Segal. "The timing into the market is perfect as more and more professional sports teams practice yoga to improve their game," Appleby said.
